ABOUT Mo’Afrika Wa Mokgathi

MoAfrika wa Mokgathi South African born multifaceted artist whose artistic Journey dates back to over two decades ago. Her many talent hats include being a Writer, Poet, Author, Performer, Translator, Curator, Cultural activist, and Band leader.

Her debut poetry collection “My tongue is a rainbow “2019 was launched in Washington DC (USA) in April 2019, it sold out during the #AzaniaToDC Tour and cultural exchange.

21 Years later her fusion of poetry and music from Jazz, soul to Kiba vocals and rhymes has ushered her to headline an impressive list of literary events and festivals in China, USA, South Africa and Sweden.

Some of her works have been featured in community and online publications, including “To breath into another voice “a jazz poetry collection edited by Myesha Jenkins (2017).
