In KiDi’s context, highlife does not only describe the music genre he is colouring our
ears with, but also the upper echelons his career is advancing into. This Ghanaian
hitmaker has been named to succeed a dancehall and reggae artist, Stonebwoy, as a
brand ambassador for technology giant Samsung Electronics.

Eugene Nahm, the Managing Director of Samsung Ghana has stated that KiDi’s music
career embodies Samsung’s brand promise and aspirations for the new decade.
KiDi, real name Dennis Nana Dwamena, has managed to secure his spot in the ranks of
Ghana’s most talented highlife musicians in a short space of time. And he continues to
cement his name further with hits like Sugar Daddy featuring Mr. Easy.

“It’s an honor to have a young music icon like KiDi, who is loved by many Ghanaians,
associated with Samsung. The music star will promote the brand’s smartphone devices
with a focus on our Galaxy A Series. KiDi’s tech lifestyle is infused with music that fits
well into our DNA,” – Mr. Nahm.

As he shared his excitement, KiDi pledged to use this deal to further broaden his
horizons along with those of the Samsung band.

“It’s an absolute thrill to be a brand ambassador for a top global brand like Samsung.
This partnership is all about progress and growth with mutual benefit. On this journey
we aim to achieve more bringing more value to Ghanaian consumers,” the superstar
expresses his gratitude.

The deal is expected to not only drive brand awareness for Samsung and its products
across Ghana but also strive to achieve a partnership that is beneficial to both parties.
