Nigeria’s King of Soul Timi Dakolo A.K.A. Nigeria’s King of Soul as he is affectionately known returns to South Africa to continue filming live episodes of The Voice Nigeria.
Rising to the lime light in 2007 when he won the very first ‘Idols West Africa’ competition; singer, songwriter and soulful musician of Nigerian and Ghanaian descent has since risen up to create for himself a bright spot in the big leagues of the industry.
Timi has worked with the big names in the music world, namely: M.I, Jesse Jagz and Joan Ekpai, amongst others. He has won the Best Recording at the Hip Hop World Awards (now known as ‘Headies’).
The Nigerian superstar recently sat down for an interview on #LifeStyle with Jomo, where he touched on his latest album “Love and Consequences” and what being a being a judge on Nigeria’s The Voice has taught him.
