Alison The Movie, wins International Award

Alison The Movie, by South African, filmmaker Uga Carlini, has been crowned with the International Humanitarian Platinum Award at the Humanitarian Film Awards.

This movie made history by becoming first South African film to be selected  to premiere at  Dances with Films Festival in Los Angeles, it also got pick of the fest from Enclave LA. 

The international recognition doesn’t end there, Alison The Movie, also featured at the Cayman Islands International Film Festival,  the film went on to win the Best Documentary at the Asia Pacific International Film Festival.

Locally, Alison The Movie was the opening film of the 2016 Mzansi Women’s Festival at Constitutional Hill. The film is now heading for the Human Rights Film Festival of  Barcelona, Paris and New York.    http://festivaldecineyderechoshumanos.com/en/
