Zimbabwe’s Carl Ncube eyes world record

Zimbabwean comedian, Carl Joshua Ncube will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the ‘Most Stand Up Comedy Performances’ in 7 days, starting from 17-23 August.

The comedy shows will be in Bulawayo, Harare (Zimbabwe), Johannesburg and Cape Town (South Africa).

Ncube is also set to relocate  to South Africa this year after he bagged himself the producer role on Comedy Central’s African themed animated show – My Child: Teenage Mutant Azanians.

“Initially I was supposed to write a few scripts and contribute to a few voice roles but that has since changed because the producers reckon I would be more valuable as a producer as well because of my knowledge of African comedy.

“I have already started work but I will probably make the permanent move to Cape Town at the end of the year” said Ncube.
