Bonang fights for Banyana Banyana

Written by on July 26, 2022

Media personality Bonang Matheba is very passionate about improving the Arts and Culture department in SA and she has unapologetically stood up to Arts and Culture minister Nathi Mthethwa when he tried to erect a 22 Million flag that would light up at night. the Queen took to twitter to tag the Sports, Arts and Culture minister to fight for Banyana Banyana team that won the 2022 Women’s AFCON league.

The country backed the Queen in stating that Banyana Banyana players deserved a financial reward for representing the country the way they did. in plain sight it looks like a normal win but this win was needed for the country to lift our spirits up and to shed a light on something positive amidst the country facing spiking fuel/food prices to a spike in crime in the past few weeks.

Banyana Banyana players will each get an amount of R450 000 from their R5,8 Million awarded by the department of Sports, Arts and Culture. the players were welcomed by fans from all around South Africa at OR Tambo international airport where they were welcomed by Minister Nathi Mthethwa who was booed as he was giving his speech.

Minister Booed off stage, sounds like South Africans have had enough.
